Electronic position indicators for baby formula packaging application
To ensure that form, fill and seal, and cartoning machines can be used flexibly, a system must be optimally adapted to changing packaging formats. ROVEMA, a manufacturer of packaging systems in the food sector, relies on monitored size changeover using the AP10 electronic position indicators with IO link from SIKO, a specialist for industrial measurement and drive technology.

Through the wire, Advanced Lift-truck Technology International 2018
Innovative wire-actuated position senors for hydraulic and telescopic cylinders offer greater durability and versatility than traditional solutions, and now measure up to 5 meters.
Down to the wire, iVTInternational.com June 2018
Innovative, new wire-actuated encoders enable variable position measurement in hydraulic cylinders, piston accumulators and, for the first time, in telescopic cylinders
Compact actuators add flexibility to bakery machines
With a need for flexible, precise, and reliable machines to cater to frequent product changes in the bakery industry, WP KEMPER Company turned to SIKO GmbH's actuators in their search for suitable motors for their high-speed dough dividing and moulding machine.
Extra safety, comfort, and efficiency, CAN Newsletter 3/2016
Information that is made available by intelligent sensor systems increases the safety of mobile cranes and their efficiency. The information can be made available to the control system and the load torque limiter, and also to the crane operator.
Stroke of genius, IVT international March 2016
This clever hydraulic cylinder stroke-measuring system boasts several ingenious innovations, eliminating the need to drill pistons and even allowing for use in telescopic cylinders.
The height of fashion, Advanced Lift-truck Technology international 2015
A world where forklifts can precisely measure height, angle, tilt and speed, while meeting the latest safety requirements, would be unthinkable without smart sensors.
Wire-actuated encoders enhance safety, iTV June 2015
In addition to global efforts on the part of manufacturers, associations, organizations, and ultimately the machine users themselves, the new version of European Standard EN 13000 focuses on new and enhanced security requirements, for example, for all-terrain cranes, hydraulic lifts, mobile elevating work platforms, and vehicle-mounted cranes.
Reduced set-up times thanks to automated actuators, packaging international 2014
The AG05 actuator from Siko GmbH, a long-established company based in Buchenbach, Germany, is making positive headlines, just in time for the company’s 50th anniversary. The actuators can be automated and lead to a dramatic reduction in set-up times in the areas of mechanical and plant engineering. Fischerwerke GmbH & Co. KG has already switched parts of its packaging production over to the innovative actuators. By using approximately 50 actuators of the AG05 series, Fischer was able to reduce the set-up times of several production lines from 45 minutes to under five minutes.
